This policy explains what information Frisco Badminton Academy collects through this website, why we collect it, and who it is shared with.
We collect information you enter directly into forms on this site:
We do not collect payment card details on this website. Camp and class registration is handled on external booking pages, and payments are processed by those providers under their own privacy policies.
Much of our programming is for junior athletes. Membership contracts for a minor are completed by a parent or guardian, and the information we hold about a child comes from that parent or guardian rather than from the child.
We also publish photographs of athletes competing and training, including minors, on pages such as our Hall of Honor and team rosters. If you are a parent or guardian and would like a photograph of your child removed, email us and we will take it down.
We do not sell your personal information.
We share information only with the service providers that make the academy run, and only so they can provide that service to us:
We may also disclose information where we are required to by law, or to protect the safety of our members and staff.
This site uses a small number of functional cookies and similar browser storage: to keep an administrator signed in, to remember which location you selected, and to remember that you dismissed a notice such as a camp announcement. We do not use advertising cookies.
We keep membership records for as long as you are a member and afterwards where we need them for our records or to meet a legal obligation. Enquiries that do not lead to a membership are kept only as long as they are useful for following up.
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@friscobadminton.com and we will respond. Deleting some information may mean we can no longer provide a membership.
